When we think of New Year Eve Looks, we picture glitters and dramatic looks everywhere. Those who wear normal makeup throughout the year will also want to add a bit of glam on their makeup during New year eve. 

Here is my makeup look  i came up with. I recently got the Urban decay glitter liners and those are really easy to work with. Even beginners can use it without exploding loose glitters everywhere.

 Eyes Details-

 -anastasiabeverlyhills dipbrow pomade in dark brown

 -abh shadow couture palette for matte shades (fudge, morocco, noir) and chic on my lid for base

 -Urban decay glitter liner in the shade gunmetal added on top of chic

 -Morphe brushes gel eyeliner in slate 

 -Vegasnay x Eylure lashes in shining star

-Coverfx illuminating primer base

-Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation (get from www.fragrancenet.com,                       they run discount all the time) 

- Mac prolongwear concealer

-Anastasia beverlhills powder contour kit to set my highlight and contour and                       illuminator in riviera

- Mac blush is melba

- Whril lipstick by Mac

Sephora has started a subscription box where you get about six deluxe size products for $10 (free shipping). The box i will be showing you is the third box. This is the first time i get to subscribe. So lets see what i got inside the box.

These are everything i got inside the box. Packaging is good with lots of shredded peppers inside. My initial thought looking at the box inside was WOW. I mean look at the products and brands they have in there.

Bite beauty high pigment lip pencil in the shade Rhubarb. This is a perfect fall shade. I will be getting full size of this product after i use this up.

Makeup forever step 1 hydrating primer. I always wanted to try this product. So excited to find it inside the box.

Sephora brand contour eye pencil in the shade no 29- my boyfriend's jeans

Another exciting product for me is this Buxom full on lip cream. It says it has a plumping effect. This is in the shade dolly.

Josie Maran 100% pure argan oil. I have used this oil in the past. Not to crazy about this but nothing that i hate as well.

Last product in there is a fragrance sample by the brand Stella. ( Stella/McCartney)

This card has the details of the products and the cost of each full size item. Also if you present this card at Sephora store, you will get 50 bonus points. It is not valid in Canada stores.

As a whole, i am very happy with my first subscription box. I am excited to try new products and $10 for all these products is steal in my opinion. Some of you may think, you can get these products with your points. Yes you can, but you need to spend $$ to earn those points and also in order to redeem deluxe size products or freebies you need to spend $25. I will be subscribing for few months to see how they perform and will be unboxing those with you all.

My Fall Beauty Picks

 My Fall Beauty Picks

Since Texas is finally feels like fall i am enjoying these products on rotation. When i think of fall, it suddenly reminds me of rich colors. So here are my pick and also let me know what you all are loving at the moment. I would love to try new products.

 I love toofaced Hangoverx because it is very hydrating and also helps my foundation last longer.
Dior foundation is not flat matte so its perfect for my dry-combination skin.

I enjoy wearing plum tone blushes during fall. My picks are toofaced- your love is king and thebalmcosmetics -cabana boy. These both lasts on me for good eight hours.

This year seems like it is all about highlighters. We see companies coming out almost every month. I picked old Bobbi brown shimmer brick in Bronze just because it is more versatile and you can mix and match according to your preferences. Recently i am enjoying top 2 stripes.

 I love to play with colors all year round. sometimes i go for more warm tones and sometimes cooler tones. This palette is great if you love warm tomes. I love palette that has all the required shades in one to create a full look. Anastasia Beverlyhills Shadow couture is my favorite at the moment.

For cooler tone looks, i am absolutely loving Gurelain Rue Des Francs eyeshadow palette. These matte shades and that shimmery golden/ copper shade is to die for. Great to create one full look. Because of its size i love to throw it in my purse as well.

Lip products are always hard to narrow it down for me. This year is also the year of liquid lipstick along with the highlighters. I haven't used my regular lipstick tubes for such a long time and i feel bad for all the money i spent on those but these liquid lipsticks are so good and long lasting that i don't reach for regular ones.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator Swatches

Anastasia Beverly Hills recently lunched four illuminators (Starlight, So Hollywood, Riviera and Peach nectar).They retail for $28. The price tag for this is pretty good compared to other highlighters/illuminators in the market and you get good amount of product. Out of four i purchased So Hollywood and Riviera.

 I have So Hollywood for some time and i find myself reaching for it  a lot. When i first swatched, i found little bit of fallout but once the first layer goes away i found the illuminator to be smooth to the touch and super blendable. So Hollywood is your golden shade that is not too gold and not too light. Being in the middle, this is the most universal color for all skin tones.

Riviera is described as Rose Gold color. but i would say this is more on pink side of Rose Gold. If you are familiar with Becca cosmetics Rose Gold, this is very different than that shade.

I love them both buy if i had to choose between these two i will get riviera just because i have nothing like this in my collection.I will have the swatches of the illuminators by itself along with comparison swatches with other brands down below.

Makeup geek DuoChrome Shadows

Makeup geek recently launched 12 of their duo chrome eye shadows and 6 of their duo chrome pigments. I have tried their regular eyeshadows before and i have to say they are good quality eye shadows with affordable price tag. 

Since i love their eyeshadows already i had to try these as well. I am not a very big fan of the loose pigments so i ordered 3 of their duochrome pans according to my preferences in colors. (Ritzy, Mai Tai, and Karma)

I am testing these out for 3-4 days now. Karma and Ritzy has great pigmentation and last me for about 7 hours without creasing. Whereas Mai Tai is less pigmented and i had to pile the colors for 4-5 times. To the touch, karma feels way creamier than other two i own.

Overall i am very happy with my purchase. Marleena did great job with her new launch.
