My picks for Mother's Day

Hi my loves i am back again with a new post. Its finally May and there is no way i can miss out this opportunity to talk about Mother's Day and what do i have for me and my mom this year.
Perfumes are always on my top list when i have to gift someone. It is amazing how one particular scent bring back so many wonderful memories.

My daughter is not there yet to know what scent i like and she will get one i like so i get to choose one for myself  so i picked Gucci Guilty and for my mom i picked her Lancome La Vie est Belle.

Lancome La Vie est belle:

 

 I have read on the Lancome website, the name itself represents life is beautiful. This meaning to me adds more value as a gift for my mom.This sent to me is very work appropriate for younger moms as well in the sense that it is not to loud where everyone is what is that...
notes: Iris,Patchouli, Gourmand.
This scent reminds me kindness, and sweetness that my mom has in her. I know for sure that my mom will enjoy this scent very much. It lasts all day which is a major plus point. It is sweet but not so over whelming. some other recommendations would be Daisy by Marc Jacobs, Happy Heart by clinique, Dolce and Gabana light blue.

Gucci Guilty:

I am around my upper 20s. and for me this is a perfect one. It is sweet and very sexy. I feel like it represents younger moms very well. For me Gucci Black is a bit more intense than this one.

Notes: Mandarin, pink pepper, Peach, Lilac, Geranium, Amber and Patchouli

Some of my other recommendations would be Ysl Black opium, Viktor and rolf flowerbomb, Dior blooming boutique.

Toofaced Sweet Peach Palette

Hi there,
Today i am doing my first impressions and swatches of the ever so popular Toofaced sweet peach palette. This palette is so hard to get. Every time it comes in stock, it sells out so fast. This palette retails for $49 dollars, has total of 18 shades and are available at Toofaced website, Sephora, Ulta and HSN.com. I got mine from Ulta in stores and was able to use my 20% platinum discount.
I will insert my swatches below then i will talk what i think of it.

As most of you have already known, it smells like peaches. Color selection is so appropriate for spring and summer. There are few darker shades you can wear during fall as well. Colors in here are pigmented, there are some shades that are not smooth but majority are smooth. I like mattes a lot more than shimmers. It wore on me for six hours then it started creasing, on my oily and hooded eyelids that is quite a impressive amount of time. Colors are very easy to blend.

If you are wanting to get this palette you really need to keep an eye out when it comes in stock again. I will have a good use out of it.

Pur Fully Charged Mascara

Hi my loves,
Today i am reviewing Pur Cosmetic fully charged mascara. I have tested this product for about three weeks now. I will insert the description from www.purcosmetics.com about the mascara and then will tell you what i think of it.
Opposites attract with this anti-aging mascara that has a magnetic polymer matrix that wraps a positively charged elastic veil around each lash to instantly lift, separate and define each lash for long-lasting performance.

First, the packaging is classy, it has Nars velvet like packaging which i love. You can transfer makeup residue from your hand to it very easily so you have to be careful if you can't stand that.

The wand looks like this ( shown in picture below).When you first look at it, one may think it will clump but noooo girl, i am loving how fuller my lashes looks. It adds length to my lashes as well. Only thing i will suggest is to wait for a min from your first coat to the second. Doing this you will get much better result with you lash separation. 

Below is my picture of me using Fully charged mascara. As you can see my lashes looks longer and fuller without being clumpy. When i take my picture with eyes closed, it does not look good at all with the mascara only and i feel the need of false lashes but with this mascara look how good it looks. Almost looks like i have falsies on. 

I am really enjoying this mascara. I totally recommend this if you have good amount of lashes and you want to enhance it to another level. In my opinion, the description at Pur website is true. Give it a try.

PLAY By Sephora

Play! By Sephora

I am back with the Play by Sephora March box. This month theme is "the perfection collection". As usual it came with six products inside. I am very happy to get some of the things inside. It is a good one.

1) Fresh Soy Cleanser: Seems like a great product for dry skin like mine.

 2) Sephora The perfectionist airbrush sponge: Haven't tried any other sponges than BeautyBlender. I am looking forward to use it.

3) Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield: I did tried one sample before. With the sample size it is really hard to tell if you like it or not. But i don't even think it made any wow difference during my usage.

4) Smashbox photofinish primer oil: I didn't liked the primer water they have. I am excited to try this. My skin is super dry. Anything with oil, i am on it. Love hydrating stuffs and it says it will blur fine lines as well. So it is a good one to test on my laugh lines.

5) KatVonD tatoo liner in Tropper: Love this stuff. 

6) Replica Beach walk: They always throw a sample in every box. Those are good to try at first.

This is all i got on my March box. If you were wondering what i got on my Feb box i will insert all products below. It was a good box too. Both the lipsticks i got, i love it so much.
Bare minerals is so hydrating and
 Makeupforever lipstick is a beautiful everyday nude.
 Tarte mascara is one of my fvorites and always stock these up when Ulta runs their 21 days of beauty steals.
 Lancome one is their eyeliner (haven,t tried it yet).
Bumble and bumble dry shampoo, style extender and volume in a pinch.( haven't tried it yet).

Top 5 Spring Fragrance

Hi my loves,
It's spring already??? Can you believe it? but i am not complaining haha. I am so excited that i can finally talk about my top 5 Spring Scents. When i think about spring, i think of fresh air, fresh/ pastels shades, beautiful flowers blooming all around. I love soft fruity, foral scents during this time of year. Another thing i look on my perfumes is staying power. So all the ones i will be mentioning today are very long lasting on me.

D&G Light blue:

One of my top, top ,top favorite scent to wear any season of the year. If i have to choose one for rest of my life i will stick with this and i am on my second bottle that's how much i love this perfume. 

Notes: Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Musk.

Clinique Happy Heart:

Another beautiful scent i love to wear this time of the year is Happy Heart by Clinique. This is one of the softest smelling scents among all in my collection. It is very long lasting. Very appropriate for formal events and everyday work. Although i wear this anytime of the year. I am almost running out of it. One of the perfumes that i don't want to be out of it.

Notes: Water Hyacinth, Mandarin, Cucumber, Yellow primrose, Blond woods.

Marc Jacobs Daisy:

It's not been that long that i got this bottle. I fell in love immediately after trying the itty bitty sample you get from Sephora. Then i bought the holiday collection duos. After i am done with that i finally decided to get a big one. It is one of those scent that makes me feel i am a grown up when i spray and i feel classy. Love love love it.

Notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White woods.

Dior Blooming Boutique:

This one is recommended by my friend recently. By looking at the bottle i knew that i am going to love it. It has foral scent that is on the softer side. If you are someone who likes the mild scent then go for it and also the happy heart i mentioned above.

Givenchy Very Irresistible:

Probably one of the strongest smelling one in my collection. The thing i like about it is that the strong scent fades away after 30 mins or so.

Bite Beauty - theamousebouche

Hi there, as many of you know that influenster send different kinds of product for review every few months. Last month i got lucky and got the Bite Beauty #theamousebouche voxbox. I screamed and jumped up and down with excitment when i got this box.
Bite beauty is one of my favorite brand out there. This is close to my heart because it is made up of all natural ingredients. It smells yummy and taste yummy as well. More citrus flavor which i love. These are on of the most creamiest lipstick in the market and are very pigmented. One swipe is all you need. It nourishes your lips like no other. It wore me for for about 5 hours then i saw bit of fading, which is a very good time for creamy lipstick. They have tons of shades to choose from. All in all, i totally recommend this amuse bouche line. If you are still in fence then at least try when you go to Sephora next time.

Kylie Jenner Lip kit 22 Review

Hi there,
I did not wanted to fall for the whole Kylie Jenner's cosmetic line until they lunched shade 22. I was looking for burnt orange shade for a while. I had few options like harvest from Blackmoon Cosmetics and mac's chili lipstick. I obviously chose 22 by Kylie to test the formula and provide my thoughts to you all.

Pictured above is the packaging and product by itself. It comes with a liquid lipstick and matching lip liner. I really like the presentation in the box. Outside perimeter of the box shows the color of lipstick inside. Below are the closeup shots of products.

 I have worn this only once. while applying the product, it went smooth and there is no need to dip more than one to cover your lips. I wanted to see how it look when layered, it came out little bit darker than the first application. I wore this for about 8-9 hours. I am very impressed with it. It was looking flawless by the end of the day as well. I ate my lunch and snacks as usual. Very little bit from the inner rim of my lips were worn off but that is unnoticeable. I wiped it out with makeup remover wipes and had no trouble of color being all around my mouth when i wipe. Below are the swatches on my hand and lips. Its very true to color.

Final thoughts: I am really impressed with formula. As all liquid lipsticks these are dry as well. Putting lip balm underneath makes it more comfortable. It is transfer proof. The only downside is, with all the liquid lipstick i don't apply lip liners so it would be nice if we were able to buy lipstick only. That would bring price a bit down as well. For me at least it applies. I would have bought other shades if they had the option to buy only lipsticks.
